The Orion Hospital Waterproof Mattress
This Hospital Grade Waterproof mattress is recommended for patients who are considered to be at an average to high risk of getting pressure ulcers.
Its modern foam design is castellated on one side in order to help pressure ulcer management, providing a high level of patient comfort at the same time. The mattress can be used without a turning programme, aiding moving and handling procedures.
Suitable for any bed frame and controls infection
The Single Waterproof Mattress will work easily with all electric profiling bed frames. It is designed to be durable and utilises only the best fabric and foam in order to provide a mattress that has an infection control enhancing cover.
The vapour permeable, multi-stretch fabric has an anti-fungal agent and reduces shear and friction forces. The high frequency welded cover helps to prevent fluid ingress and can be laundered at up to 80 degrees ensuring excellent decontamination.

5-Year Foam Warranty, 1-Year Cover Warranty – Against Manufacturing Defects
*GB Foam Direct offers a 5-year warranty on Mattress Foam and a 1-year warranty on Polytran Covers, both specifically covering manufacturing defects. This warranty applies to material and manufacturing defects but does not cover issues resulting from improper use, incorrect setup, or natural wear and tear.

I bought this for my daughter with medical health needs. We have tried so many over the years. This really is the only mattress we have bought which we can clean properly and doesn’t leave a lingering smell. Better than that though, is it’s incredibly comfortable. To the point I’ve bought another two for my other children without health needs, as I’d always find them lounging on her bed saying how comfortable it is. It also means their sister can sit with them without worrying about any accidents. Cannot recommend this mattress enough, great customer service too.
