Step 1

Choose a suitable foam shape from the selection of templates on our homepage. There are 25 in total to choose from. This includes a custom option for even more shapes if you can’t find what you’re looking for. We’ve even included a few common shapes below for you to take a look at.

Step 2

Input the measurements that you’d like your daybed mattress to be. You can use cm, mm or inches. Whichever method you prefer.

Step 3

Choose a foam grade. We stock a wide range of foam types including memory foam, recon foam, acoustic foam, reticulated foam and more! If you would like us to glue together two separate layers of foam, be sure to mention this in the notes section when placing your order.

Step 4

Choose whether to include dacron and stockinette. You can read our dedicated guide for more details to help you decide if you’d like this, but we’ll summarise it here.

Dacron is a wadding that goes around the foam. It helps to provide a fuller fit to cushions placed inside covers. Be aware that choosing to include dacron will add approximately 1cm to the top and bottom of your foam. Take this into consideration when placing an order.

Stockinette is a netting that helps to reduce friction. This makes it easier to insert and remove foam cushions from their covers.

Using Daybed Cushions Outdoors

If you’re using a daybed cushion outside, be sure to choose a water-resistant material to cover it with. In the event of rain, this will help to stop the foam from becoming wet and potentially causing damage. Please note, we do not offer a daybed cushion cover service.

You may be interested to know that we also stock a specialist grade of foam suitable for use in wet conditions. Reticulated Foam has a unique cell structure with wide open cells that allow water to freely pass through them. As a result, it dries much faster than regular grades of foam. It is often used to make boat cushions and cushions for various pieces of outdoor furniture.
